NBYT Teen CompanyI Know I Saw Gypsies consists of several short pieces written by high school playwrights and adapted by Tom Erhard. The play deals with teen issues such as lack of popularity, prejudice, bullying, first love, family relationships, and other school troubles. Several of the pieces are comical; many are touching and serious; and all of them are powerful. The production will be simply staged by NBYT Executive Artistic Director David Sousa, and will give young actors the opportunity to explore voice, emotions, monologues, and other acting techniques.
