Fly with us over the rainbow to Oz! Based on the 1939 blockbuster film, The Wizard of Oz: Young Performers Edition follows Dorothy and Toto as they meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, the Wicked Witch of the West, the Good Witch of the North, Munchkins, monkeys, and more! The Young Performers Edition is a slightly shortened and simplified adaptation for young actors and audiences.

NBYT’s summer musical production for ages 7 through 16 will hold rehearsals over a four-week half-day program (Mondays through Fridays) with a weekend of performances at the end of the program. All children who register will be cast in the show. Roles will be determined based on pre-program auditions to be scheduled in June. Over the course of the program, the cast will rehearse the performance—including music and choreography—and will also help to make some of the props and costumes to be used in the show.

Dates: Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 24
Hours: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Performance Dates: July 24, 25 & 26

Cost per child: $375 ($325 if registered by April 30)
Deposit: $100 upon registration, balance due by June 15
