HONK! JR on Stage This Weekend!

The whole barnyard is buzzing this weekend as New Britain Youth Theater performs Honk! Jr at Holmes Elementary School! Isn’t this a great looking cast?

Honk! Jr is a “quackingly good” musical adaptation, by the writers of new music for Broadway’s Mary Poppins, of the story of The Ugly Duckling—one of the most beloved fables about the challenges and victories of being different.” A cast of actors ages 8 through 16 have been rehearsing their singing, dancing and acting since January, and this is sure to be one of our most fun shows for both the cast and audience!

Honk! Jr will be performed at Holmes Elementary School, a community space located at 2150 Stanley Street in New Britain. Performances are Friday, April 29, at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $13 for adults and $11 for children, students, and seniors.
