Be a Teen Volunteer at NBYT!

Beginning this summer, NBYT is seeking Teen Volunteers, ages 14 to 18, to assist on productions and in educational programs. Current programs seeking volunteers are the summer musical, Beauty and the Beast Jr, and a summer improv class meeting on Tuesday evenings in July. We’ll continue to use Teen Volunteers in productions and classes beginning in the fall.

Volunteers will assist with warm-ups, instruction, rehearsals, and other activities; will assist with performances as required; and will assist Directors, Stage Managers, Teaching Artists, and other adult staff in supervising younger program participants.

All Teen Volunteers must be reliable, punctual, and responsible for their own transportation. Although these are unpaid volunteer positions, volunteers will gain valuable experience and—because NBYT is a nonprofit organization—may be able to receive community service credit from schools or other organizations requiring volunteer hours.

To apply, please send an email to Executive Director Darren Farrington by email to jobs@nbyt.org—or speak to him at a rehearsal.
