Marketing and Development Assistant Sought

New Britain Youth Theater seeks a part-time Marketing and Development Assistant to work a flexible schedule of up to five hours weekly. Responsibilities will include assisting with:
• Grant research, applications, acknowledgements, and reports
• Donor acknowledgements
• Press release preparation
• Poster, flyer, and other marketing materials preparation
• Program book preparation including sponsorships, biographies, and production information
The ideal Marketing and Development Assistant will be highly organized and motivated and will have strong writing and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Word and Publisher is a plus. Schedules and time commitment are somewhat flexible; morning or early afternoon hours are preferred, but evenings during rehearsals at the Berlin location may be workable as well.

Founded in 2010, New Britain Youth Theater is a professionally-run community and educational theater for children and teens in Connecticut. NBYT produces a season of performances by and for children and young adults, provides educational programming to schools in and around New Britain, and offers drama classes and individual coaching and lessons.
