Be Impressive at Auditions!

Every actor wants to give a good impression at auditions, but here’s a secret: every director wants every actor to be impressive at auditions too! What could be better for a director than to have great choices for every role!

Because we want every actor to be prepared and at their best, NBYT is offering this FREE workshop to help young actors improve and fine-tune their audition skills.

With our youngest actors, we’ll focus on giving a good first impression and tips for reading from the script. With older actors we’ll add in choosing and preparing a monologue; coming with part of monologue memorized is encouraged but not required.

Workshop Dates: Saturday, January 12
Times: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. (ages 6-12) and 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon (ages 12-20)
Location: NBYT Studio Theater at the YMCA, 362 Main Street, Berlin
Cost: Free
Instructor: Artistic Director Darren Farrington

All young actors are welcome—whether preparing for an audition at NBYT, at school, or at any other theater.

Please do register so we’re prepared for the number of participants! To get more information, email info@nbyt.org or call 860-515-8115.
